I attended Grand Canyon University which is located in Phoenix, AZ. I double majored in Secondary Education/History. I also have endorsements to teach grades 5th-9th as well.
Experience
I am a Junior High teacher at Picacho Peak Elementary school. I teach 6th-8th grade Social Studies while focusing on English Language Arts Common Core. I am data driven and know how to use test scores to find the strengths and weaknesses of my students and it drives how I teach my class. Before I became a teacher, I tutored K-5th graders in Math and English. I originally got into education because I love helping the next generation. I have a strong passion to see kids accomplish their goals. As a tutor, I would find out where your child is at academically and move at a pace that is most beneficial to the child.
