I am a native of the Chicago area, but now live in Arizona. I enjoy teaching a variety of courses, including those on the subjects of computer science, executive functioning, and business.My education includes an AAS in Information Technology, a BS in Business with an IT Minor from Trinity Christian College, and a MBA from DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management. I also recently completed my CBCP certification in Business Continuity from DRII.Since 1978 I have been a part-time instructor and professor at community colleges, universities, and graduate schools. Additionally, I have held positions in consulting and management in a variety of industries for businesses in Chicago, throughout the country, and also internationally. These positions include Data Center Manager, Project Manager, IT Director, and VP of Information Systems. I have worked with a disaster recovery user group in the Midwest for 11 years, serving as president and board member. My recent work has focused on assisting clients in business continuity and disaster recovery, including consulting work with a Fortune 500 company in the Business Continuity Recovery Services division.I view teaching as being a two-way street. Students are able to learn from my experience, while I am also able to learn from theirs.In addition to teaching, I also camping, fishing, hunting, and golf. I live with my family, two dogs, and cat in Arizona.
